23rd July 2002 - The poll "Who Should Play Thadfest 2?" has been removed due to Thadfest 2 ending. The results finished as follows:

Rachel Stevens - 3%
Freeloader - 3%
Vena Cava - 4%
Matt And Alex's Funk Band - 5%
Thad - 5%
Thad's Mum - 11%
Shuriken - 16%
Boy.Eats.Girl - 25%
But the winners with 63 votes and 27% were Good Mother Lizard!!!
22nd July 2002 - Thadfest 2 is over but will not be forgotten for a long time yet! Apologies for the late cancellation of Freeloader and we at Thadfest would like to wish them luck with the new members. The crowd at Thadfest was insane and the bands were all very impressed with the way they were into the music of Boy.Eats.Girl, Good Mother Lizard and Spine. CDs and Videos of the event will soon be on sale to anybody who wishes to purchase a copy. Also, Thad's view of the event will appear in story form on the stories page as soon as I track him down.
20th July 2002 - THADFEST 2!!!!
22nd May 2002 - SPINE have been surprisingly added to the Thadfest 2 bill. They will headline the event. They just happen to be one of The Masters favourite bands (with BoyEatsGirl of course!)
26th April 2002 - The tickets have been changed! It now says the correct starting time of 7pm although we at Thadfest advise you to be there when the doors and box office open at 6:30pm.
19th April 2002 - The final line-up is in with all the times sorted out : The Gastropod will be opening proceedings with a short set followed by Matt And Alex's Funk Band who will also play a short, and mainly inprovised set. Warning: Do Not Miss This, It Will Be Extremely Enjoyable!!!! The three main bands, BoyEatsGirl, Good Mother Lizard and Freeloader will then play after that. DJ Baz is the Thadfest DJ and will be playing sets in between each band.
18th April 2002 - Hmmm.....I've just noticed something wrong with the Thadfest tickets! Ok, I should really have seen this earlier but.....well.....I didn't! It says 8:00pm on them which is very wrong. BoyEatsGirl will be going on at 8pm but the event starts at 6:30pm and the first band will be at 7:00pm.Please do not come at 8pm because, if you are buying tickets on the door, they may well have sold out by then. Also, we wouldn't want you missing two bands!
12th April 2002 - There's not really any news but I'd just like to say a big thanks to Fony and Waterdown for at least listening to my request for them to play Thadfest 2 instead of just walking away when i met them last night at their show with Earthtone 9!! Cheers!

9th April 2002 - Ok, so the tickets are now on sale for Thadfest 2. Of you don't know already, It's July 20th 2002 and it's at Stroud Sub Rooms. Tickets cost £3.50 each.

5th May 2001 - BoyEatsGirl and Vena Cava confirm their slots on the Thadfest 2001 bill. Thad announces that The Booth will make it's first appearance.
2nd May 2001 - Good Mother Lizard are confirmed to play Thadfest 2001 as headliners.
30th April 2001 - Thadfest 2001 is confirmed for Nailsworth Town Hall, 21st July 2001.
27th April 2001 - The Pelican in Stroud cancels Good Mother Lizard's gig. Thadfest is born.

THADFEST CD:
Thadfest 2 was recorded by the great, and very professional Dave. As soon as the tracks are mixed and the best ones are chosen, there will be a CD on sale including tracks by all the bands who graced Thadfest 2 with their presence. Make sure you get your copy! There will also be a video of the event for sale.
